• Cycling on the trail where is well-known as jungle of the Bangkok City

• Ride through the mangrove, plantations and local road with cutural attraction

• Support local community by a visit

Transfer to Bang Krachao by van. After a quick bike fitting and a little briefing, we are off cycling the back roads on the trail to Bang Krachao. Then cycle elevated bike paths through local villages and plantations. Stop for some homemade refreshments in a family garden commanding grand views of the Chao Phraya River and take a moment or two to contemplate the ship and barge traffic on the river. Before man ever came to Bang Krachao the area was a large mangrove forest which would light up at night with the lights of fireflies. Today members of the local community have created a reserve where you can come to see the mangroves as they once were and where the fireflies can flourish. You won’t see any fireflies during the day but feel welcome to come back at night. Meandering away from the mangroves through villages and local Buddhist temples, stop to visit a Shrine to Ganesh, the Hindu god of beginnings and the remover of obstacles. Followers of his cult in Thailand have established a lovely shrine to Ganesh in Bangkrachao. Coming to the end of the Bang Krachao trail we stop for a moment to visit the historical temple of Wat Bang Nam Phueng Nok and take some resfreshment before return to hotel van.
